Our beginner competitive program typically runs 2 times per week for a total of 4 hours + 1-2 additional practices each month. This program is for Swimmers new or returning to the sport and who want to take on a little more than what is offered in the pre-competitive (rec) programs. As with all other program levels, the athletes will develop a new set of skills, through activities in and out of the pool. Your swimmer will learn skills appropriate to a beginner athlete as well as a routine for their level. While they may have first time nerves, competitive swimmers get to experience performing in front of judges and receive marks and valuable feed back. They will also get to perform in front of audiences while being supported by coaches and club members.
Practice Times:
Tuesday and Thursday - 5:00-7:00pm
1-2 Additional Saturday practices a month
